Long ago, almost 300 years ago, or how about 4,000 years ago, the gods and goddesses existed. So did the nymphs, for example Thetis, and many so much more.
But there was a marrige to attend.
Paris was to marry Thetis.
Paris was a mortal.
Thetis, a river-nymph, was not happy, though, because if she was a nymph,
and Paris was a mortal, their children would also be mortals. But Eris, discord-goddess, (also known as Discordia), was also unhappy. For she had been invited not, and everyone throughout Greece to Egypt knew Eris would cause quarrels,
